Banana-Macadamia Nut Bread

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter(1 1/2 sticks),
at room temperature
1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
3 large eggs
4 cups mashed ripe bananas
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease two 9- by 5-inch loaf pans.
Mix together flour, soda, and salt. Set aside.
Cream butter and sugar together with electric mixer. Add eggs, bananas,
vanilla and almond extract and beat at medium speed until thick. Add flour
mixture and macadamia nuts to butter mixture. Blend at low speed just until combined. Do not overmix.
Pour batter into pans and bake in center of oven for 60-70 minutes or until
toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool bread in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pans and let cool on wire rack.
