Original Irish Coffee Recipe

1 jigger of Irish Whiskey
2 teaspoons of Sugar
Fresh Hot Coffee
Fresh Cream

Rinse your glass with boiling water, so it is good and hot to start with.
Add your Whiskey, Sugar & Coffee. Stir. Using the back of a spoon,
slowly pour the cream so it sets on top of the mixture.

Do not stir the cream into the coffee. Traditionally, this is best sipped
through the cream. The fresher the cream you can buy, the better, too.

Irish Coffee has become Americanized, and mostly to look more Irish.
Lots of places will serve it with canned whipped cream and drizzle
Green Creme de Menthe over it. It looks pretty, but it isn't authentic.
Nor does it enhance a good Irish whiskey!

Irish Whisky Punch

For 1 serving

1 jigger Irish whiskey
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
(or brown sugar if you prefer)
4 whole cloves
2 slices fresh lemon
3/4 cup (6 ounces) boiling water

Put the whiskey sugar, cloves and lemon slices into a sturdy preheated
glass or mug.  Add boiling water and stir until the sugar has dissolved.

Black Velvet

 How simple can it get?  Just combine equal amounts (like, say,
1 cup each) of Guinness stout and Champagne in a tall chilled
glass, stir and serve.

Triple Irish Coffee!!!

To 1 large mug of steaming hot coffee, add 1 ounce Irish Whiskey,
1 ounce Irish Cream, and 1 ounce Irish mist.  Stir to blend.  Top
with whipped cream.

Tipperary

1 jigger Irish whiskey
1 jigger Chartreuse
1 jigger sweet vermouth
3 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir well. Strain into a
cocktail glass. Serves 1.

Irish Bomb

6 ounces Guinness Stout
6 ounces Harp Lager
1/2 jigger Bailey's Irish Cream
 1 jigger Irish Whiskey

Combine. Drink. Enjoy. Be sure you have a designated driver!

The Irish Kegbomb

3 ounces (2 jiggers) Absolut Vodka
8 ounces Bass Pale Ale
8 ounces Guinness Stout

Take a pint glass and pour in 2 jiggers of Absolut Vodka. Pour halfway
(1/2 pint) with Bass, and the rest of the way (1/2 pint) with Guinness.
It's going to mix together no matter how you pour it, so don't expect to
see a divided drink.

Everybody's Irish

2 ounces  Irish Whiskey
1 ounce Crème de Menthe
1 ounce Chartreuse

In a mixing glass half-filled with ice cubes, combine all ingredients.
Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.

Hot Irish Nut

1 Part Irish Cream
1 Part Frangelica
1 Part Amaretto
Coffee

Serve in coffee mug.

Irish Eyes

2 ounces Green Crème de Menthe
2 ounces Heavy Cream
1 ounce Irish Whiskey

Shake with ice.
